Including myself there have been 3 known owners. Very few records were kept by the first owner, but I have papers documenting suspension work, ending in major replacements (springs, control arms, tie rods, etc…) The second owner replaced the original 289 with a Rebuilt 302 (full assembly including cylinder heads etc.), which I have documents of. The original C-4 trans was also rebuilt at this time, as well as painting the car red (originally night mist blue). Since I’ve owned the car, it has been my daily driver, so my investments were in improving safety and reliability.

MAJOR MODS: Replaced the front drum brakes with a Power Disc Conversion from SSBC, Rebuilt the Power Steering system (power cylinder & steering shaft), and Replaced both full floor pans.

OTHER MODS: 3 Point Seat Belts, Edelbrock Intake Manifold and Automatic Choke Carburetor, Pertronix 2 Pointless Distribution, Dual Master Cylinder, Power Brake Booster, New Radiator, 140 Amp Alternator, New Starter, Remote Alarm, Pioneer Sound System, 15 X 6 Cragar SS Rims, AAMCO Front Sway Bar.

Things to Know:

Pros: The car is a reliable performer. It’s been my daily driver for 3 years now, and it’s never overheated or experienced any engine related problems. I’ve regularly changed oil and preformed maintenance. Actual mileage on rebuilt engine is closer to 34,000.

Cons: This is a SALVAGE car. The previous owner managed to earn this title, but thorough inspection of the vehicle reveals no structural damage. I myself also paid to have the car’s brakes and lights CA certified, just to be safe. However as luck has it, I was rear ended, resulting in $5,000 of repairs (have pictures). The car was repaired by Auto Collision Center in Anaheim Hills

I AM ONLY INTERESTED IN LOCAL BUYERS.
